Custom Bikes
One question that we get asked all the time is, do you guys do custom bikes? Yeah, we do custom bikes, in fact we do lots of them!

Real Harleys or Special Construction, Chopper or Fully Dressed Cruiser, we do lots of them. Just as well, because so many of these bikes end up stolen and part of an ongoing, time consuming, very expensive and frustration insurance dispute!
Lets be honest, factory stock is boring! We are all individual, and we want our bikes to be individual. Nobody wants to be riding down the road and see an identical bike coming the other way. No, we want our bike to stick out like a sore thumb! We want other riders to notice our bikes.
Of course, all this comes at a price. It's not unusual for owners to put way more money into customizing a bike than what it cost to buy in the first place. Alternatively, you might buy a turn key custom bike from one of the hundreds of excellent custom bike fabricators, often costing several times more than an 'Plain Jane' or 'off the shelf' model might cost.
The bottom line is that if you, your bank or your insurance company can't look in a book and find out exactly what your rides worth, because the conventional value guides don't apply to a bike like yours. You better protect your investment, you better have it professionally appraised by one of the experienced inspectors at the Auto Appraisal Network before something happens.
Every month we get calls from half a dozen or so custom bike owners that have had their bikes stolen. Even though they have every receipt covering the total cost of the missing bike, they are in a battle with their insurance company to recover the money they invested in their custom bikes. It always amazes us that an owner will gladly pay out a couple of hundred bucks for some insignificant polished or chromed component that nobody will ever see, but he won't spend the same money to avoid a potential insurance disaster with a professional appraisal!
